Self-Test: Plagiarism

Objectives:

• To test oneself on detecting plagiarism
• To see how various teachers respond to plagiarism

Directions:

1. Click on This Internet Plagiarism Quiz

2. Read over the source samples. Then, read over each student sample. For each student paper, there is a box underneath asking for your answer and explanation. DON'T type your answer into the box, because that will submit it to another teacher you don't know. Instead, open a Word Document and type your answer in there.

3. Send me the e-mail with all five answers cut and pasted in it. Remember, you must not simply put whether it is plagiarism or not, but why. The e-mail should have as its subject your last name and "Plagiarism Quiz."
