First of all I would like to say sorry because I completely forgot about posting my own blogs for the group. The group meets so much and there was so much communication through other mediums that I forgot about the blogs. I have mainly just been researching about the project. One of my main research topics for the new paper was the "Truth" commercials and there director and overall information about those commercials. I found that Tom Kuntz was the director and that the new commercials are made by The Sunny Side of Truth," which is a branch off of the "Truth" organization. Like I said the group has been meeting on a very regular basis so there was not muh need for research out side of the meetings, so pretty much everyone knew what everyone was doing. Again I apologize for not posting in some time.

In the week of Nov. 10th I did some research for my project. I tried to find the cost of commercials on several different TV networks, including NBC and ABC. We also met as a group on Wednesday to discuss the project

This week was mainly compiled of helping the group revise the White Paper and create a PowerPoint presentation for the the group. I also assisted in making the handouts off of the PowerPoint we created. We met on Monday to do the bulk of the work and again on Thursday just to check and make sure everything is ready to go for our presentation.

I was unaware that all of us had to be writing individual blogs so here is my work thus far. Last week I spent the week researching the groups topic of cyber bullying. Specifically I have been researching current issues and lawsuits of cyber bullying cases. also I have been researching how people can prevent cyber bullying and other similar issues on the web. This past week the group has been writing the first draft of the White Paper Project. I specifically wrote the section involving how we can make the public more aware of the problem at hand. I also assisted in writing the rest of the paper and bringing everyone else's parts together to make a finished product.

Social Networks are great ways to keep in contact with people when used properly. When some children get on these networks it can cause many problems. These problems could be privacy problems and even bullying problems. This past summer I heard a story of a young child who posted a altered her birthday so that she could gain access to the internet. The girl got into a fight with another girl at school and that other girl, along with her friends and her mom, harassed the girl using a social network until the girl committed suicide. This is obviously an extreme case of a problem, but obviously very possible
