On Monday we met as a group for the workshop to discuss with Prof Kerns what we needed to do to make our report better.  I was unable to make it for the rest of the meeting due to a presenation in a class I had right after ours and a fire alarm.  Later on Monday night I made the revesions to my section.  Tuesday we plan on meeting around 7:30 to finish the paper and prepare the presentation.

When we received our peer review back we saw that we had much to do.  We decided to go to class for the workshop where we had Prof Kerns go over our report where we received great feedback and we felt that we could take the report in the direction we hoped.  We are planning on meeting Tuesday evening around 7:30 to go over the final touches of the report and work on the presentation.  We are planning on giving our presenation on Wednesday. 

Towards the beginning of this week I had little motivation to do any work due to the fact that it was Thanksgiving on Thursday.  I was back to me normal self though on Sunday were I finished my section of the recommendation report.  We then met to collaborate and put together the report.  It was then ready to be submitted for Wednesday.

At the beginning of the week we still continued individual research began our individual sections of the report.  Due to the short week we were not able to meet until Sunday when everyone got back from break.  We met at the Union to go over our rought draft of our recommendation report.  We put all of our sections together with the visuals and sources and then prepared it for Wednesday to be turned in. 

For myself I did a little bit of research on Ziggs.com to compare it to Facebook.  I also began looking for good visuals for our report.  We met a little in class and discussed a little about some of our individual findings but nothing too drastic.  We went more in depth on Sunday about what we were going to do with the report.

In the second week we all continued working on our individual sections of the recommendation report.  We talked briefly at the end of class about our findings and then we met on Sunday night to discuss more in detail the research we found and what direction we are going to take.   We still have a lot of work ahead. 

To start off the project I decided that I would write the group blogs so everyone else could spend more time on research for the report.  On Sunday we were able to meet up and create our gant chart.  I am responsible for explainin why our solution works in detail and why it is superior to others.  I am also responsible for one of the visuals in the report.  After our meeting I wrote the Plan of Action Memo for Monday.

For next week we plan on meeting on Sunday to go over more in our solution.

We started off the week trying to figure out which solution we should use from our white paper.  After much deliberation we decided to choose Siranjani section which was dividing Facebook into two different sections; a social Facebook and a more professional Facebook.  We felt this was the most feasible solution compared to the other ones we discussed. 

At our meeting on Sunday we went over who was going to do what with the Recommendation repory.  That helped us create our gant chart.  We are planning to meet this Sunday to go over some ideas with the report and also go over our graded white paper to see what we need to work on.

10/19/2008-10/26/2008

During this week we were all assigned new parts of the white paper.  I was given the executive summary.  The rest of the group members picked from the works cited, table of contents, conclusion, and graphic.  Our goal was to have this done by Sunday evening and then meet to put it into the white paper but that was not the case.  We ended up finishing the final product of the white paper on Monday. 

Now or goal is to us the peer review to our advantage so we can make our white paper perfect.  We plan on meeting on Monday at 2:30 to go over the revisions and prepare for the presentation.

During the week I was assigned to write the background history and the introduction for our white paper.  The rest of the members of my group were given one solution to our problem and then wrote about it.  During my research of the background history I found that Facebook has grown to 100 million users in little over 4 years now.

After we all finished our sections we consolidated our information into the white paper.  We each did our own litte peer review within our group and then put each piece into the white paper.  I believe we did this on Thursday evening during our meeting. 

Another interesting fact I found about Facebook was that half of the users are out of school.  Meaning 50 million users are adults outside of high schools and universities.
