Today, my group will be presenting our recommendation report.  We met today for the final time to go over slide transistion as well as practice.  Personally, I was responsible for the costs analysis and the conclusion.  I also helped Sol with the final portion of the handout.

Sol and I met today, Monday after Thanksgiving break, to put the final rough draft in one document that is going to be formatted by tonight.  I am personally responsible for the executive summary and final formatting.  Our final rough draft should be done by tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

Today our group broke up each part of the report to an individual.  I personally am responsible for researching all costs that are involved with the CopySense service.  I also am responsible for research involving software required, personell, timetables, and other practical issues.

Our group has chosen to discuss the CopySense service.  We decided that because Inder researched the topic in our White Paper, he is going to be in charge of dividing up who is going to be researching what.  We have agreed to meet on Sunday night at 7:00, to take the first steps in research as well as finishing the Memo due Monday.

Our group has finished our final white paper as well as the powerpoint.  We have worked as a group well and everyone has done their fair share of the paper.  I personally was responsible for the Handout that will be given during classtime, the portion that highlights Ruckus, and the steps that the University of Nebraska has taken to solve the problem.

Our group has met a couple of times, and have discussed what each members' responsibility is for the final paper.  I am going to be summing up the final solution as well as the conclusion.  Are group is meeting again tonight to finalize the paper and work on our powerpoint presentation.

I have done research on my specific topic, the Ruckus network.  I discovered that this network provides college students with valid e-mail accounts to access music for free.  The students can download any song they want with no restrictions, besides placing the songs on their iPods.  I have also contributed to the group by providing the steps that have been taken to adress our probelm as well as the conclusion to the paper.

I helped my group with various tasks in the final draft of the memo.  I formatted the entire document and made the correct adjustments.  Also, I was in charge of finding solutions to the illegal downloading problem.  After research, I concluded that the best solution to this problem was joining music downloading sites that were legal and already paid for by the university.  Each member did a part of the memo and finished it on time.

Topic Proposal: Videos and movies being downloaded illegally before and after official release.

            Recently the issue of illegal downloading of movies on servers such as DC++ and Limewire, have caused some studios and actors to become unhappy.  The websites work just like downloading music illegally, yet it’s a full motion picture.  People who may think that they are downloading the movies legally could be wrong.  Generally, most people download from sites that allow the sharing of files, this is an illegal action and the punishments could be severe if caught.  Most people, unaware of the site being illegal, download the movies straight to their computers, and law enforcement is beginning to crack down.
