Meeting 1st of December Rough Draft Finalized

During the period on which class was cancelled, we finalized our individual parts in a group setting and afterwards edited and pasted together the sections to make the final paper. I went over the end user part of the paper and modified the psychological argumentative aspects of that section. We planned on meeting next week for the final draft review before turning it in.

Monday 24th November Meeting

We discussed responsibilities and kept up to date on which person was in charge of what section for the paper. My end user section was cleared up in that some aspects of the solution that I had already written were clashing with Jim's own section. We discussed which issue we were both explaining and we resolved any other issues. Finalizing the rough draft was for next meeting.

Monday 17th Recap of Memo and Expectations for Paper

We met with Jim who wasn't present on the day of the memo when it was passed back in class. Aswin and I explained to Jim what Ms. Kerns had told us about what needed to be tweaked for the paper in order to have the information be credible and sufficient for a good grade. We planned on meeting again during the class time we had off in order to work on the paper together.

Planning Meeting November 5th, 2008 -- Research meeting November 13, 2008 7:30 – 9:00pm

Initial meeting for deciding on which of the three solutions we were going to select for our Project 3. We chose option: 2. Downgrading the Character's Abilities using a Time Limit. We planned to meet 12:30 pm on the 7th of November for completing the memo for class.

The Research meeting was held at Hicks library in the evening of Nov. 13th at 7:30. We researched our individual topics and found finanacial records for Blizzard. We decided to meet next week on the Monday after class.

Week 2 Blog Entry

We met during Wednesday during class time to discuss further application issues with the paper. During the discussion we went over our obligations for which parts of the paper each memember had to do. We plan on meeting Sunday for finishing the rough draft.

Project 3 First Meeting Week 1

Our group met today at 12:30 pm to work on the memo and the Gantt chart for the assignment due on Monday. We looked through the alternatives proposed in the white paper and chose which solution would be the best for the project. We concluded the meeting by arranging a meeting date on Sunday in the afternoon to finish the Gantt chart.

Update: 4:30-6:00 pm Meeting

We decided to stay after class to finish the Gantt chart rather than to schedule for Sunday.

Our group finished the power point and handout for the presentation on Friday the 31st.

October 28, 2008 Presentation and Final Draft

All three people in the group were here. Everyone all participated in making the necessary corrections to the final draft which were done on Monday; and have completed the power point presentation for class on Friday.

Updating the Peer Reviewed Sections

Last week and this weekend after reviewing the paper in class, I finished editing what needed to be corrected and will be meeting with my group this week to finish the paper and power point for presentations for this Friday.

Meeting 2: Rough draft and More Articles

I have researched the topic of addiction in online gaming to further find details about the user's behavior. I was able to find 4 articles in all, each highlighting a different demographic of interest who were all playing the game our group was writing about. After this I finished the rough draft of my part which included, the Discussion and the Conclusion parts of the White Paper. I am to detail the solutions we are to present to the game company and further expand on how they are effective and what issues may they present if implemented.
