This week we are turning in our final copy of our recommendation report and presenting our presentation.  I have been working on making some last changes to the section of the paper that I wrote and creating my powerpoint slides. 

We turned in the first copy of our draft for the recommendation report this week.  I helped with editing our paper along with some formatting for the draft of our paper.  I created the table of contents once we had all of our parts of the paper put together. 

This week I have been working on finishing up the portion on our paper dealing with the partnership that Perverted Justice has with the law enforcement around the nation and how MySpace could benefit from this during the new partnership of Perverted Justice and MySpace.  In order for the partnership to work properly and to be able to catch and prosecute the predators, law enforcement must be involved with catching these people.

This week we have been working on getting our paper written and putting it together.  I have been researching the resources that MySpace has for looking for sexual predators, advertising methods that both MySpace and Perverted Justice use, and also partnerships with the law enforcement that the partnership can utilize to catch predators.  The paper is coming along and I have been able to find a lot of useful information for my portion of the paper.

This week we decided as a group that we were going to propose to MySpace to make a parntership with Perverted Justice to help to reduce the amount of sexual predators on MySpace.com.  As a group we created a memo and also went through all of the tasks that needed to be assigned throughout the project.  I indiviually edited  the memo and also formatted it into the correct format.

All three of the group members met at Hicks Library on October 28th. We went through the corrections that our peers made to our White Paper draft.  We changed some things in the White Paper and also decided what all still needed to be done on our presentation for Friday.  Chelsea plans to make the corrections on the White Paper draft and also create the slides for her portion of the presentation. Phillip is going to make the slides for his portion of the presentation and also is going to make sure the entire powerpoint is consistent throughout the presentation.  Diedra is going to make the slides for her portion of the presentation and also create the handout for the class.  All three of us plan to review all of these things on Thursday October 30th and also practice our presentation.

This week I have been working on getting the handout for our groups' presentation on Friday with a summary of what our presentation will be about and our White Paper.  I have also been working on getting the slides for the powerpoint presentation made for my portion of the presentation.

This week we turned in the draft of the White Paper. We e-mailed each other many times about the paper and we each read through the paper and edited it.  I was primarily in charge of the "safer MySpace" section, the conclusion, and getting the works cited page put together and in MLA format.  We plan to get together next week to work on editing the White Paper and working on our presentation.

All three of our group members met at Hicks Library for about an hour before class on October 20, 2008.  We further discussed our outline for the White Paper and also reviewed everything that each of the members has wrote for the White Paper.  We all seemed to need to work a little more on each of our parts of the paper, so we are planning to meet again tomorrow to finish things up for our draft of the White Paper.

This past week, I have been working on researching different safety features that MySpace has for the social network currently and also researched some ideas for things that they can add to thier site.  I started writing the proposal for a newer "kid safe" MySpace and features they could add to it.
