Today and last night I went over my portion and revised sections I thought were weak.  I have also brainstormed some ideas for our presentation and plan on scheduling a group meeting.  We will be prepared for our presentation by Thursday.

I finished writing my portion of the rough draft and emailed it to my teams.  Yesterday, we met as a group and compiled our rough draft.  We decided on the order of which we wanted to present and adjusted transitions and formatting.

Today I did research on different companies whom I had read about that did not score very highly in the customer service field for their websites.  There were not many answers or ways I could see that they were similar, but I intend on digging further.  I am also looking into when and where we can meet as a group this week.

Many websites that sell products via the web have taken measures to ensure that a potential customer’s information is kept private.  Sometimes, however, this is not enough.  EBay, for example, uses an intermediate system to complete transactions if buyers choose to utilize it.  Paypal is a trusted site that completes merchant transactions using bank accounts and credit cards.  Many times people have gotten emails asking them to provide user name and password information.  These emails are, in fact, sent by hackers themselves.  There must be more than a simple warning done on behalf of Paypal to stop this crisis.  Paypal is just one example, there are many more.
