RPG Group Project 3 Week 7 Entry

This past week has been hectic. We met Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to practice our presentation and finish up our deliverables. I also got the paper bound by Boiler Copymat and had to do the second run of handouts. I also did this week’s write-ups as well. I spent approximately 3.5 hours working on the slides, handouts and rehearsing. I also spent another hour and a half at Boiler Copymat getting the presentation bound. I also spent forty-five minutes fixing the handout and another forty-five minutes working on the write-ups.

The goal of the meeting was to practice the PowerPoint presentation.

We practiced the PowerPoint and got down when we would transition slides and transition from person to person. We also discussed possible questions that people may ask us and made sure we agreed on our answers, so we could better answer our audience.

For our next meeting we plan to meet Friday December 12, 2008 from at 4:30pm to present our PowerPoint presentation.

The goal of the meeting was to turn in the deliverables.

We turned in the PowerPoint electronically with the recommendation report, as well as a bound hardcopy of the report. We also talked to Dr. Kerns about our handouts and she said we needed to reprint them, so Jim took on that responsibility.

For our next meeting we plan to meet Thursday December 11, 2008 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm to practice the presentation one more time.

December 8, 2008 5:30 – 6:30pm

The goal of the meeting was to finish up the PowerPoint slides, handout, and practice our presentation.

We finished up the PowerPoint and finished designing the handouts. We also delegated who was going to get the report printed and bound, and who was going to get the handouts printed. Jim volunteered to get the paper bound and Aswin said that he would get the handouts printed.

For our next meeting we plan to meet Wednesday December 10, 2008 during class to turn in the PowerPoint, paper, and handouts.

These past weeks we worked on finishing the recommendation paper and starting on the PowerPoint presentation. I attended the meetings and helped comingle the rough draft. I also did this week’s and last week’s write-ups as well. I spent approximately 5 hours working on the draft and the slides, and another forty-five minutes working on the write-ups.

The goal of the meeting was to work through our peer edit and make revisions to finalize the paper, and work on the PowerPoint slides.

We looked through the paper making revisions. We also worked on the PowerPoint presentation but did not get it finished.

For our next meeting we plan to meet Friday December 8, 2008 after class to finish up the PowerPoint and practice the slides.

The goal of the meeting was to finish up our rough draft that was due on Wednesday.

We again looked through each other’s revised parts and meshed the parts together. We finished up the rough draft and began working on the PowerPoint presentation.

For our next meeting we plan to meet Friday December 5, 2008 after class to look over the critique of our draft.

The goal of the meeting was to read through each other’s sections that we had previously written and start to mesh them together.

We looked through each other’s parts and began to mesh the parts together. Andrew’s part and my part clashed so I had to rework mine. We discussed the issue we were both trying to explain and also talked out other issues that we were not all clear on.

For our next meeting we plan to meet Monday December 1, 2008 during the class off to finish pulling together our paper.

This week we again worked on researching information in order to help come up with estimates for the recommendation paper. I attended the meeting and helped find the financial statistics that we needed for the presentation. I also did this week’s write-ups as well. I spent approximately 3 hours researching information and another fifteen minutes working on the write-up.

Project 3 progress

This week we have had three meeting to get this project three together. we meet on tuesday night. Everyone was suppose to have their parts done., so we could out it together. Everyone did, we just had to fix a couple of things. Wednesday we meet before class at 1:30 to make sure everything flowed togehter. Inder and i went to go bind everything together. We turned in our report Wednesday in class. Today is Friday and we are meeting again to go over the preseantation one last time, but i belive we are going to do a good job.
