Outline of my cover letter part 2

Out of habit, I accidently hit CTRL + S to save my previous blog entry, the website posted it, and now I can't figure out how to edit it... so here is part 2.

I. Why I am applying for this job

i. found out about the opportunity through Purdue Aviation Department

ii. after doing more research on L&B, have further discovered how L&B fits with how I would like to use my aviation degree, and how L&B would benefit from having me as an intern

II. What L&B is looking for, and how I meet that

i. be enrolled in a major specific to the company-

a. Aviation management, thus I understand the benefit the company offers to aviation, and how to comply to aviation law

ii. ability to conduct environmental impact studies-

a. participated in AvTech research

b. have knowledge of the environmental issues and aviation due to specific law class

c. have done extensive planning with PSUB- helped develop my organization and team communcation skills

III. The big picture of the company and how their values coincide with mine/my experience

i. understand that each customer has specific needs, and relationships must be developed

a. past internship at AAR based  on creating relationships, student organizations depend on relationships

i. understand the global nature of the company

a. aviation industry is not US-specific, so I can use my skills of communication and cultural background to the benefit of the company

IV. Conclusion

ii. please contact me ( will not say that I plan on calling them to follow-up)
