Today was our final group meeting. We made a few final changes to the documentation based on the results of our user study. We also completed the appendix with the usability study. From the results, it looks like our documentation was very helpful to the users.

Tonight was our usability study. Overall i think this was a success. Most of our feedback was very positive and the feedback that wasn't will help us improve our documentation. Most of the testers reported that they were more confident searching for e-articles than they were before working through out tutorial.

Last week we finalized our user documentation for the rough draft. I thought it looked really good, and we got some feedback to make it even better. This coming week we're going to have our usability test so we'll see how it ends up.

With a group meeting under our belt, i think we have a pretty clear idea of where we are going with this project. From here, the majority of my research has come from navigating the purude library page trying to see where users may get held up.

Once again everyone showed up for our meeting in ENAD tonight. Today's meeting was fairly lengthy, but we were able to finalize everything for tomorrow's presentation. Our final draft of the white paper is complete, our powerpoint is done, and our handout is ready for tomorrow as well. We probably wont be having another meeting after this since we present tomorrow.

After completing the rough draft early last week, i felt that our group was in pretty good shape. We now have our final draft complete along with our powerpoint and handout. All we have left to do now is present!  This shouldnt be too rough, just that i have trouble with formal presentations sometimes. Oh well. Im confident that with the progress we've made that our presention will be great.

March 24, 2009

Today Ashley, Andrew, Deborah, and Sijia all met in the afternnon at ENAD. Everyone came preparred with their portions of the research and paper completed. Todays meeting finalized the rough draft due Wednesday, and set a few deadlines about the presentation and slide show. Our next meeting will probably be in class or over the weekend to finalize out paper and presentation.

I have a good portion of quality research done (or at least i think its good quality) just in time for spring break. Having next week off will give me plenty of time to type up my section of the paper and send it to Ashley so she can get the executive summary done. Its seems like everyone else in the group has a good grasp on what they need to do, so im not very concerned. cant wait for break!

With spring break next week, Ashley, Andrew, Sijia, and Deborah met at the end of class. We modified a few deadlines we had set a couple weeks ago to accomodate for individual portions of the paper, such as the executive summary, to be written by the time we got back from spring break. Our next meeting will either be in class, or the monday we get back from spring break to put all of the paper together.

So far ive made some progress on research in finding a few good articles on digital watermarking. I haven't started my section of the paper yet, but im not too concerned. Ive been really busy this week anyways, hence posting this a week late.
