        1.  Very diverse school dynamic captured my attention

         2. I have observed and helped in Lafayette classrooms as part of pursuing a degree in math education.

    A.  Decision to teach

         1.  Based on experience teaching tennis.

              a.  learned classroom management, patience, and how to keep students motivated.

              b.  provided the opportunity to help coach at high school in lafayette

        2.  Always helped peers in grade school and thoroughly enjoyed helping those peers understand and learn.

III.  Conclusion

     A.  How I can make a positive contribution to their school system.

         1.  High-energy, enthusiastic person

         2.  Hard worker who has taken the opportunity to learn many things from experience.

         3. Anxious to put my skills to use in such a wonderful school system.
