Now, finishing up the final draft of the project. Added a Table of Contents to the beginning of the report. Also, made sure that all the information that was needed was on the disk. Will be turning in the project today.

Met with group today in the basement of BRNG to finish revising the Usability report, the video, and the documentation. Reviewed all contents and we are getting it ready to turn in tomorrow. We will be meeting again tomorrow to make sure everything is alright for us to turn in the report.

After compiling my part of the Usability test report. I decided that I needed to cut down on some of the information that was put into the paper. I wanted the discussion section to be very detailed, however I decided that some of the information that I put into the report could be eliminated because it was not pertinent information. Therefore, I deleted some of the information in my section of the reporting and enhanced other sections.

On this past week, our group conducted our usability test. After evaluating the pre and post questionnaires, my responsibility was to evaluate the post-questionnaires and discuss the results and recommendations in the paper. In the paper I talked about how the participants stated that they did not see any real issue that prevented them from completing the test. I also noted that the participants stated that video was a great supplemental aid.

Recruited two people to help with testing tonight. Working on revising draft for meeting with participants later today.

I have completed my part of the White paper dealing with Social Privacy. I have submitted it to my group and we are working on putting it all together. I have also completed several surveys for analysis for the group project.

This week I have been researching privacy issues with Facebook. One of the most interesting issues I found  was with companies placing advertisements on Facebook based on what you are interested in as a person. I found that Facebook has 44 partnering companies that are able to sift through your profile and put advertisements on your main page based on your interest. I also found information about the beacon privacy issues with businesses. I am still in the process of finding more information to complete the White Paper Project.

We live in a world where Facebook and other related sites have consumed our lives. Nowadays people spend more time on Facebook than anything else. You can generally find out whatever you want about a person through their Facebook page. Everyone needs to be careful of what they put on their Facebook pages because not only are employers on Facebook, but parents or other relatives have accounts on Facebook as well.

As a Program Administrator for Golden Recognition, Inc I coordinated a Youth Leaders Anti-Tobacco Advocacy Program of 20 people. I also prepared presentations to the community on ani-tobacco advocacy. I was responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing youth for admission in tothe program. I worked in teams to convey ideas toward tobacco advocacy so that the youth would find the information interesting.
