Subject: FACEBOOK PRIVACY
The information provided below explains the scope of the work and the timeline for the completion of the white paper project for the Facebook group. The project will be ready for grading by March 30, 2009.
Scope of the Work
The memo has been completed. We have continued research on the topic. We are in the process of getting more information toward the final draft of the white paper.
Selective Advertisement Issue
We will create a survey to pass out randomly through campus on March 1. We will distribute the surveys on March 5 and then Roya will analyze the surveys on March 8. Shatio and Reston will research advertising from February 25-March 13. Within their research they will find information around social privacy. They will find information around stalking on Facebook. In addition they will find information around privacy associated with tagged photos.
Businesses Viewing Issue
Roya and Jordan will research the business aspect of Facebook from February 25-March 13. Within their research they will find information surrounded around professional privacy. Within professional privacy they will find information pertaining to legal and ethical issues associated with Businesses on Facebook.
Finalization
We will all document our personal experience with Facebook and will tie in that information when necessary. We will also post Group and Individual Blogs frequently throughout our project.
