Last night I worked on the memo and a little bit of research for the white paper for about 40mins. We are now using google docs which is awesome.

INTERNET CENSORSHIP GROUP MEETING #2:
When/Where: In class Wed. Feb. 25th
Who: Mark, Paul, Dave
Goal: gather more information for white paper, discuss feedback from graded first memo
Topics: Gov't censorship, political control of internet. Net neutrality, ISP's vs google.
Decisions: use text from previous hearings in FCC about net neutrality, colombia prof's research
Tasks: gather info, email to finish new memo due fri.
Plans for next meeting: have completed memo turned in.
Other/etc: go liverpool fc!!!

INTERNET CENSORSHIP GROUP MEETING #1:
When/Where: In class Fri. Feb. 20th
Who: Mark, Paul, Dave
Goal: work on individual assignments determined in last meeting for proposal memo.
Topics: Gov't censorship, political control of internet. Net neutrality, ISP's vs google. Memo will be internal FCC.
Decisions: sticking with the net neutrality topic to narrow down the subject.
Tasks: Paul covers resources, Mark covers the problem basics, Dave covers possible solutions.

Should Americans be angry at U.S. owned and based companies such as Microsoft and Google? Since the lead-up to the Beijing Summer Olympics it is well-known that the limits that the Chinese government puts on its citizen's internet searches are stringent and often come with punishments for being violated.

My most relevant experience is my internship with Hy-Pro Filtration where I both helped filter manufacturing and also wrote up several marketing pages and flyers.

Current objective statement:

          employment

Every time I shovel the sidewalks, the snowplows come back down the street and undo all my hard work!
