Since last posting I have aided in editing the Gantt chart and the overall project memo as well as putting them within the same document and emailing copies to all group members as well as turning in the final email draft to the professor before class time.

Documentation StarCraft Individual: Blog 1

So far I have volunteered for the position of writing group blogs and have completed one for each of our two meetings thus far.  I also helped in adding some responsibilities to our Gantt chart as well as providing some information for the project proposal.

Documentation StarCraft Group: Meeting 2

Our group met today within class on Monday April 6th.  All members of our group were present (Brett, Hu, John, and Liz).  Today we began our project proposal and started the set up of our Gantt chart.  The goal for the next meeting is to finish the project proposal, including the Gantt chart and begin to research our documenation.

Documentation StarCraft Group: Meeting 1

We met in class on Friday April 3 and all members of our group were present (Hu, Brett, John, and Liz).  We established our group today and decided that we were to present our documentation on how to set up an effective base for beginner StarCraft users.  Liz was assigned to group blogs.  The goal for the next meeting is to create our project proposal memo to Blizzard Entertainment for such a documentation.

Censorship Group: Meeting 9

We met on Saturday March 28 in Stanley Coulter computer lab.  All group members (Brett, John, Hu, and Liz) were present.  We put together our individual slides for the presentation as well as our handout.  We edited all for content and decided they were pretty much complete.  Liz is getting the project printed and bound and printing the handouts.  The goal for the next meeting is to rehearse our presentation before giving it on Wednesday.

I have created my powerpoint slides for the presentation and given them to the group to insert with the others.  Also, today I am getting the paper printed and bound, along with the printing of the handouts.

Today I met with the professor and discussed issues regarding our white paper and its contents.  After the meetings I edited the paper for grammar and content as well as summarized the case studies used in the human rights violations section and fixed the citations within.  I informed my group members of the larger issues needing to be addressed in our papers.

Censorship Group: Meeting 8

We met in the Beering computer lab on Thursday, March 26 at 5 PM.  All members (Hu, John, Brett, and Liz) were present.  In our meeting we addressed citation issues, as well as needing to include more case study examples of human rights violations as well as add some background on the Beijing Olympics and the recent blockage of the entirety of YouTube (delegated to Hu).  We also decided to combine the gradual and immediate removal of censorship into one section and add a section based on petitioning the UN or governments to deal with the Chinese government since they most lik

Today I helped put together our rough draft as well as format it.  I edited the completed version after the group meeting and reformatted our works cited page, making sure all the citations corresponded and were accounted for as well as cutting down on unnecessary information in our paper so that we didn't go over the limit with the added words for our executive summary and conclusion.

Censorship Group: Meeting 7

We met Tuesday March 24th in the computer lab in Beering where class is held.  All memebers of the group (Brett, John, Hu, and Liz) were present.  We compiled all of our revised and completed research and citations.  A title page, table of contents, executive summary, and conclusion were written and formatting was completed.  The goal for the next meeting is to edit as well as to have our slides done for the powerpoint presentation so those can be put together.
