• Look at The Etiquette of Business E-mail
• Discuss "Boss's Angry E-mail Sends Shares Plunging"
• Exercise: In groups of four, discuss what you consider to be the five biggest problems with this example e-mail.  Don't just list them; explain why they're problems. Then, put yourself in her supervisor's shoes and write a paragraph assessing the employee. Send your comments in an e-mail to me with the subject line "E-mail Etiquette Exercise."

• Find an advertisement for a job that you'd like to apply for. Access The Job and Career Resources section for help on places to search. This will be the job we'll use for the Employment Project.
• Due Wednesday: a copy of the job advertisement if it's in print, or a link to it if it's online. (No class Monday - Labor Day!)
