Our group met today at 12:30 pm to work on the memo and the Gantt chart for the assignment due on Monday. We looked through the alternatives proposed in the white paper and chose which solution would be the best for the project. We concluded the meeting by arranging a meeting date on Sunday in the afternoon to finish the Gantt chart.

We decided to stay after class to finish the Gantt chart rather than to schedule for Sunday.

Our group met at the end of class today to talk about what solution we are going to talk about in this project. Our group has planned to do the Rukus solution.

Last friday our team didn't get to present because of the time shortage, we were ready.

We group gave our Facebook presentation yesterday, I thought we did good overall. Lastweek we have met up as a group and went over all the powerpoint slides as a group, making sure that everyone was clear on what they are suppose to focus on during the presentation. We also worked on our finalizing our whitepaper as a group, reorganized the order and made some adjustments on the powerpoint slides as we went over them. I made my notecards and studied the my resources before the presentation.

I wrote this blog Friday night but its not showing up, so I'm going to write it again.

My group did our presentation last friday, and I believe we did a good job, I felt myself speeding up a little bit throughout the presentation. I need to practice more when it comes to my speed. My other group members did a great job explainuing and presenting the information the whole class. we thought that we were in good timing, but we did go over time by a minute and a half.l The questions that the class was aking our group was very consrtuctive and we were able to answer most of their questions. Overall, all my group members including myself put in alot of work to pull off this presentation. i hope we get  GOOD GRADE!!!.

My group did our final presentation for the whitepaper last Friday, so I thought that I was done with Buy.com and online customer service. However, today in class Professor Kerns introduced project 3, and I found out that project 3 will continue the topic from project 2. The difference is that project 3 required more detailed research. Because of this, I spent a little time on www.forrester.com looking at some of their research. I found some more detailed models for e-business and got an idea of where our improvements would really help Buy.com in the forrester.com model. On Forrester, I also found a number of articles about Oracle's customer relationship management system. I feel like this might be a good application to recommend if we decide to go with an in-house solution on the recommendation report. Hopefully, I will be able to look at some other CRM solutions soon to get a good idea of what different vendors offer in the way of online customer service and customer relationship management.

 Finally, we finished final draft of white paper. I found some problems of our white paper, for example excecutive summary or back ground history didn't follow the rule. Also main problem was choice of the company which we are going to send a whitepaper. We chose RIAA which is Recording Industry Association America, but we later change it to University of Nebrask in Lincoln(UNL) due to our paper contents.

 I focused on UNL and researched about this school history, percentage of illegal downloading music and so on and I fixed my part, history problem and solution 3. I made my part of powerpoint slide and finish final white paper. I revised it several times and fixed some grammar parts and citation parts. Later we collect all together and binded at Copy mat.

 I was kind of nervouse but our presentation was perfect thanks to everyone's hard effort!

This week, I helped the group in revising all parts of the whitepaper. I then helped the grou in making a PowerPoint. I then continued to imporve my parts and helped others with theirs parts. I helped the team get oritened with new technology. I helped the group in arranging meetings. I helped the group putting their sources i APA Format. I also suggested that we picked University of Nebraska as the unviersity base our research upon.

    This week was filled with many meetings and working long hours.  Sunday we met for 4.5 hours in a group setting at which I helped revise the paper.  This task took longer than expected and as we finished, we also decided to work on our part of the PowerPoint on our own time.  I spent about an hour putting together my part of the presentation on my own time on Monday night.  On Tuesday we met again at hicks for 2.5 hours in a group setting and put together the PowerPoint slides we had created and tried to mesh our three parts together.  I helped edit more parts of the white paper and finish it up.  On Wednesday we met after class to work for 2 hours.  During that time I helped finish up the PowerPoint and mesh all of the slides together.  On Thursday Andrew and I met for 2 hours and finished the PowerPoint and handout.  I made sure that the slides would look good on the screen and I made sure that I knew how things would work in the room.  We did not practice the entire presentation because Aswin had a test that ended at 9:30pm and he did not understand where we were meeting.  Andrew and I decided to call it a night a I had been there since 7:30pm refining the presentation.  The Final meeting was Friday (today) and we worked together for 1.5hrs to make sure that we could go through the presentation in the allotted time.  I also helped finish up the handout and helped make final touches to the PowerPoint.

The goal of the meeting was to finish everything that needed before the presentation and practice the presentation before class.

We did some editing on the handout and PowerPoint and practiced our parts as best we could in the lab setting.  We felt confident in the work that we put forth on the project and believe we would do well during the presentation.

For our final meeting we plan to meet October 31, 2008 at the Beering Classroom at 4:30pm to deliver our presentation.

The goal of the meeting was to finish the PowerPoint presentation and finish the handout for class.

We finished the handout and PowerPoint and were going to practice, however Aswin was not able to attend due to a miscommunication after his test ended at 9:30pm.  Andrew and I both practiced our parts and made sure that the PowerPoint looked graphically appealing and there were no misspellings.  We also worked on the handout and finished most of it.

For our next and final meeting we plan to meet October 31, 2008 at the Stewart lab at 12:30pm to finalize the handout and rehearse the presentation.
