Created powerpoint slides to contribute to greater presentation, and practiced my presentation and reviewed my content.

E-Commerce Fraud, Blog Entry #4

This week, we finished all three portions of our project: handouts, final white paper, and presentation. We met Tuesday evening at Hicks Undergraduate Library to finish the final draft of our white paper project. What we did was basically make shure that all the information that each one of us had specifically written made sense and that it all looked as if it were written by the same person. We also reviewed the evaluations received from other groups and made changes according to some of their suggestions. We then met Wednesday, in the same place, to start our power point presentation. We all worked together in this and came up with a very good design and organization. Moreover, me and my group finished and perfected our citations. Finally, we met again for the last time Thursday night to decide who was going to say each part of the presentation. We also printed the handouts that we will give tomorrow in class and prepared for out final presentation tomorrow.

The goal of the meeting was to finish the PowerPoint presentation and work on the handout for class.

We are finishing up with the presentation and starting on the beginning stages of the handout. All of our information was present and complete for the slides.

For our next meeting we plan to meet October 30, 2008 at the Beering lab at 9:30 pm to finalize the PowerPoint, rehearse the presentation and finish the handout.

 

RPG Group Meeting 7

The goal of the meeting was to begin work on the PowerPoint presentation.

We worked together to further revise the rough draft that was peer edited the Friday before. We had troubles staying in the 1800 word limit. Since we were finished with editing we decided to work on the PowerPoint to get ahead in the schedule. After successfully typing up our slides individually, we made sure to meet again that Wednesday to put everything together.

For our next meeting we plan to meet October 29, 2008 at the Beering lab after class to finalize the PowerPoint and edit necessary parts of the paper.

 

My personal input

I have worked very hard these past two weeks on the paper and presentation.  Last week I compiled all the information that each person found into one paper for the rough draft.  This took multiple hours.  This week I have been reorganizing the paper, and helping with the powerpoint presentation.  Right now I am double checking the paper for any errors.  I will then email it to the rest of the group for them to look over as well to catch any mistakes I might have looked over.

Facebok Group meetings

This week we met on Monday, and we provided each other with the information we would like to present in the powerpoint.  We then outlined the information.

Tonight we met and worked for two and a half hours, perfecting the powerpoint.  We also went over how we were going to reorganize the paper.  After, we went into a room in Beering to view our presentation on the large projector.  There, we timed the presentation and made any adjustments that were necessary.

Work update for the week of 10/27/08

This week was mainly compiled of helping the group revise the White Paper and create a PowerPoint presentation for the the group. I also assisted in making the handouts off of the PowerPoint we created. We met on Monday to do the bulk of the work and again on Thursday just to check and make sure everything is ready to go for our presentation.

Weekly Group Update

My group met twice this week to work on our project.  We met on Monday afternoon and made all the suggested corrections from our peer review and made our powerpoint presentation.  Kelly and I worked on the paper, with input from Dan and Ben and Dane and Ben worked on the powerpoint with input from Kelly and I.  We also met Thursday night to work on the handout and practice our presentation. We have no future plans other than presenting our project Friday morning in class.

Update on Write Paper

My group members and I meet on Monday of this week to revise and work on the presentations for Friday.  We worked very well as a group and completed all the work in a timely manner.  We decided to divided some of the work such as printing out the paper and revising the power point and such along with the worksheet.

 

 

Wed in class we divided up the power point for the presentation and decided to meet online Thursday nigh only if you had a questions about something.
