I have been preparing the setup of one computer in which to set up the connection, while having another computer with wireless connection in order to allow them to configure and password protect the system.  I have also been printing out in color the necessary documentation and questionaires.  I will continue tor refine this until I give 3 tests all happening tomorrow evening at 7 pm.

This week for the documentation project I helped edit the documentation and worked on an appendix. Additional changes were discussed after reviewing the feedback from the peer review. Preparations were made to begin testing.

This week I am going to help edit the documentation based on my classmates' comments and the comments from our participants whom performed the usability test. I took notes of some of the actions and comments by the particpants while they performed the test. This week I also plan on helping out with the usability report. Hopefully We can have everything complete before the start of finals.

Finished up usability testing late last week. Noted some concerns and discontinuity between parts written by different people. Need to change directions to use the demo of the Pro version, not the demo since it doesn't include features other people needed to write about.

Installation and setup sections need more detail and explination.

Week 1: Decided on idea, downloaded and experimented with the DVDFab program.

Week 2: Wrote my part of the documentation, included lots of screenshots and pictures so even the most basic user could figure it out.

This weekend we completed the user testing. Overall it went well. We will complete the testing report sometime this week as well as tweak our final documentation.

We are progressing on pace for this project.

Our usability testing is complete, and we discovered that our steps along with the pictures were easy to follow, and in some cases the subjects claimed that the steps were over-simplified. However, they wouldn't have known how to operate the program functions as quickly without our documentation.

The usability rough draft was completed and testing has also been completed.  We will be going over the results and working on the final report this week.
